In this study, the histologic type will not predict who will or will not respond to therapy. About half of MPGN will respond to combination of Prednisone and another immunosuppresive drug if the serum creatinine is less than 4 mg at entry. The initial serum creatinine appears to be a good predictor of the eventual outcome of the disease.
The study aims to: 1) determine the histologic incidence of different types of Filipino adult; 2) determine the correlation between histolohic finding of the clinical feature and response to therapy; 3) observe the course of the disease both the treated and non treated subject.
